• I.G.S.

  The Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.) is an ASICS design philosophy. It aims to make shoe components from rear to midfoot and forefoot to work together effectively to allow the body to perform in a natural manner. ASICS designers strive to compliment, not correct, how the legs and feet move.

• Gender Specific Forefoot Cushioning

  Gender Specific Forefoot Cushioning refers to the inclusion of specially formulated Solyte material in the forefoot of the female shoe. Since this material is less dense than the traditional material it offers greater impact absorption and more bounce for female runners.

• AHAR

  ASICS High Abrasion Resistance Rubber (AHAR) is a tough compund used at the heavy contact area of the outsole, for example the heel. It helps to reduce excessive wear.

• Gender Specific Forefoot Cushioning

  Gender Specific Forefoot Cushioning refers to the inclusion of specially formulated Solyte material in the forefoot of the female shoe. Since this material is less dense than the traditional material it offers greater impact absorption and more bounce for female runners.

• Soft Top DuoMax

  Soft Top Duomax is a softer top layer of the Duomax midsole. Together with the Gender Specific Space Trusstic, Soft Top Duomax accommodates for fluctuations in women's hormonal levels which cause the foot arches to be lowered, creating more pressure on the plantar fascia. By using a lower-density material, Soft Top Duomax provides a more comfortable transition from heel strike to toe-off without sacrificing stability.

• Space Trusstic

  The Space Trusstic System is an advanced system that creates a pocket between the Trusstic System device and the midsole, allowing for greater midsole deformation and more efficient foot function.

  The Trusstic System is a light-weight moulded component which links the rearfoot and forefoot and shores the midfoot as it prepares for propulsion.

• 3M Reflective

  3M scotchlite (a registered trademark of the 3M Company) reflective material enhances visibility during low light hours.
